About Thrombophob Gel :

Thrombophob Gel contains Heparin Sodium IP 200 IU, Ethanol 95% IP 0.5 g, Aqueous Base (Ethanol content 54% V/V) and Excipients q.s.

Use of Thrombophob Gel :

Thrombophob Gel is used for:

  • Superficial phlebitis with or without thrombus formation
  • Venous congestion of the extremities
  • Injuries due to sports and accidents such as bruises, contusions, effusion of blood, sprains and dislocation
  • Tenosynovitis
  • Furuncles and other inflammatory infiltrates
  • Sural spasms

Usage direction of Thrombophob Gel :

  • For the dose and time schedule, follow the physician’s guideline.
  • Thrombophob Gel should be applied topically.
  • Before applying clean and dry the affected area.
  • Thrombophob Gel should be applied in a thin layer to the skin of the diseased part.
  • The gel should not be rubbed or massaged.
  • With open wound (E.g. in ulcus cruris or injuries) Thrombophob Gel should be applied only to the outer skin area and not to the wound itself.
  • Replace cap tightly after use.
  • Refer the package insert information for proper usage direction.
  • Do not skip or stop the dose without physician advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Thrombophob Gel 20 gm :

  • For external use only.
  • For percutaneous heparin therapy.
  • If you are allergic to this medicine inform the physician immediately.
