About Veloz Fast 20 mg Tablet:

Veloz Fast 20 mg Tablet is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastric ulcer, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Each uncoated Veloz Fast 20 mg Tablet contains Rabeprazole Sodium 20 mg (With Sodium bicarbonate as buffer).

Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by the inhibition of H+/K+-ATPase enzyme at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cells. By this action, it prevents the production of acid in the stomach.

Uses of Veloz Fast 20 mg Tablet:

Veloz Fast 20 mg Tablet is used to reduce the excessive acid production in the stomach. It is prescribed for the treatment of the following conditions:

  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
  • Excessive acidic condition of the stomach such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
  • Damaged esophagus, which is caused by stomach acid (Erosive esophagitis).
  • Gastric ulcer, which is either caused by Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection or induced by drugs.

Usage Direction of Veloz Fast 20 mg Tablet:

  • Veloz Fast 20 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Veloz Fast 20 mg Tablet is to be swallowed whole.
  • Do not chew or crush the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Veloz Fast 20 mg Tablet:

  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Veloz Fast 20 mg Tablet.
  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
  • The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Veloz Fast 20 mg Tablet with any other medication.
