About Scabout Cream:

Scabout Cream is an anti-parasitic medication indicated for the treatment of scabies and lice infestation.

Scabout Cream contains Permethrin 5% w/w.

Permethrin belongs to an anti-parasitic class of medication. It affects the sodium transport channel, thus causing depolarization and leading to the death of the affected parasites. It also kills head lice and their eggs, which causes intense itching.

Uses of Scabout Cream:

Scabout Cream is prescribed for the treatment of scabies and pediculosis capitis (Head lice and nits), where tiny insects infest and irritate the skin.

Usage Direction of Scabout Cream:

• Scabout Cream is intended for external use only.
• Keep the tube tightly closed after use.
• Apply on the affected area as directed by the Physician.
• Do not skip or stop the application without the physician’s advice.
• Do not apply more than the prescribed quantity.
• Before the Scabout Cream application, please check the labeled instruction or packaged leaflet, that comes with the product.

Precaution & Related information of Scabout Cream:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Scabout Cream.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant application of Scabout Cream with any other medications.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Scabout Cream:

Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light.
