About Biomethrin Cream:
Biomethrin Cream is an anti-parasitic medication indicated for the treatment of scabies and lice infestation.
Biomethrin Cream contains Permethrin 5% w/w.
Permethrin belongs to an anti-parasitic class of medication. It affects the sodium transport channel, thus causing depolarization and leading to the death of the affected parasites. It also kills head lice and their eggs, which causes intense itching.
Uses of Biomethrin Cream:
Biomethrin Cream is prescribed for the treatment of scabies and pediculosis capitis (Head lice and nits), where tiny insects infest and irritate the skin.
Usage Direction of Biomethrin Cream:
- Biomethrin Cream is intended for external use only.
- Apply on the affected area as directed by the Physician.
- Do not skip or stop the application without the physician’s advice.
- Do not apply more than the prescribed quantity.
- Before the Biomethrin Cream application, please check the labeled instruction or packaged leaflet, that comes with the product.
Precaution & Related information of Biomethrin Cream:
- Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Biomethrin Cream.
- Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
- The Physician should be well informed when concomitant application of Biomethrin Cream with any other medications.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Storage condition of Biomethrin Cream:
Store at a temperature below 25°C. Do not freeze.
