About Norflox TZ Tablet:
Norflox TZ Tablet is a combination medication, indicated to treat diarrhea and dysentery of amoebic, bacterial, or mixed origins.
Each film-coated Norflox TZ Tablet contains Norfloxacin 400 mg, Tinidazole 600 mg, and Lactic Acid Bacillus 120 x 106 spores.
Norfloxacin belongs to a class of fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting the enzymes topoisomerase II (DNA gyrase) and topoisomerase IV which are required for bacterial replication.
Tinidazole belongs to a class of antiprotozoal as well as antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial and protozoal infections by damaging their DNA.
