About Norflox TZ RF Tablet:

Norflox TZ RF Tablet is a combination medication, indicated to treat various susceptible bacterial and protozoal infections.

Each film-coated Norflox TZ RF Tablet contains Norfloxacin 400 mg and Tinidazole 600 mg.

Norfloxacin belongs to a class of fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting the enzymes topoisomerase II (DNA gyrase) and topoisomerase IV which are required for bacterial replication.

Tinidazole belongs to a class of antiprotozoal as well as antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial and protozoal infections by damaging their DNA.

Use of Norflox TZ RF Tablet:

Norflox TZ RF Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial and protozoal infections including gastrointestinal infections, prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate gland due to the bacterial infection), and urinary tract infections.

Usage Direction of Norflox TZ RF Tablet:

  • Norflox TZ RF Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Norflox TZ RF Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Norflox TZ RF Tablet:

  • If hypersensitive or allergic to Norflox TZ RF Tablet, inform the physician immediately.  
  • If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
  • The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Norflox TZ RF Tablet with any other medication.
  • This drug may cause low blood sugar and mental health related side effects.
