Each film coated Lotak A tablet contains Losartan potassium 50 mg and Amlodipine Besylate equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg.
Use of Lotak A Tablet:
Lotak A tablet is prescribed to treat mild to moderate hypertension (high blood pressure).
Usage direction of Lotak A Tablet:
- Lotak A tablet should be taken orally.
- Lotak A tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
- Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

This is because grapefruit and grapefruit juice can lead to an increase in the blood levels of the active ingredients amlodipine, which can cause an unpredictable increase in the blood pressure lowering effect of Losartan/amlodipine.
