About Basalog 100 IU/ml Inj  :

Basalog 100 IU/ml Inj is Insulin Glargine injection (rDNA Origin). Each ml Basalog 100 IU/ml Inj contains Insulin Glargine (rDNA) 100 IU, m-Cresol 2.7 mg (as preservative) and Excipients q.s.

Use of Basalog 100 IU/ml Inj  :

Basalog 100 IU/ml Inj is prescribed for the treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Basalog 100 IU/ml Inj may be used for both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Basalog 100 IU/ml Inj  :

• Doctor will advise the right dose and duration of administration as per the patient’s condition.
• Before using Basalog 100 IU/ml Inj know the administration process from the enclosed leaflet.
• Administer subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen and rotate the injection sites.
• Do not stop, skip or change the dose without physician’s advice.
• The injection solution must be clear and colourless. Do not use if it contains any floating particles, discolored, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.

Precaution & Related information of Basalog 100 IU/ml Inj  :

• If find any complication inform  the physician immediately.
• If taking any other medications or  any supplements inform the physician.
• Please take precaution in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• Do not use  expired , torned or tampered  medication.
• Do not mix with other insulins and solution.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Consult with  the physician  during  pregnancy or lactation.
• Store in a refrigerator at temperature between 2°C and 8°C.  I
• In-use instruction -  During use Basalog vials that are  are kept at room temperature not above 30°C (86°F) up to 28 days.
• Do not expose to excessive heat or direct sunlight.
