About Basalog Injection 100 Iu/ml :

Basalog Injection 100 Iu/ml is Insulin Glargine injection (rDNA Origin). Each ml of Basalog Injection 100 Iu/ml contains Insulin Glargine (rDNA) 100 IU, m-Cresol 2.7 mg (as preservative) and Excipients q.s.

Use of Basalog Injection 100 Iu/ml :

Basalog Injection 100 Iu/ml is prescribed for the treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Basalog Injection 100 Iu/ml may be used for both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Basalog Injection 100 Iu/ml :

  • Doctor will advise the right dose and duration of administration as per the patient’s condition.
  • Before using Basalog Injection 100 Iu/ml know the administration process from the enclosed leaflet.
  • Administer subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen and rotate the injection sites.
  • Do not stop, skip or change the dose without physician’s advice.
  • The injection solution must be clear and colourless. Do not use if it contains any floating particles, discolored, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.

Precaution & Related information of Basalog Injection 100 Iu/ml :

  • If find any complication inform the physician immediately.
  • If taking any other medications or any supplements inform the physician.
  • Please take precaution in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.

  • Do not mix with other insulins and solution.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.

  • Store in a refrigerator at temperature between 2°C and 8°C. 
  • In-use instruction - During use Basalog Injection 100 Iu/ml that are are kept at room temperature not above 30°C (86°F) up to 28 days.
