Mupimet ointment is a Topical Antibiotic ointment intended for topical dermatological use only. Mupimet ointment contains Mupirocin ointment I.P. 2% w/w. It works by preventing bacteria from growing on your skin.
Use of Mupimet Ointment :
Mupimet ointment is used to treat certain skin infections such as impetigo, rosacea, folliculitis.
Usage direction of Mupimet Ointment :- Mupimet ointment should be applied topically as per doctor’s advice. Doctor will decide the right dose and the duration of use as per the patient condition.
- Clean and dry the affected area before application.
- Puncture the nozzle tip with the piercing point of cap.
- Apply directly on the wound.
- Do not use it on the face, groin, or underarms unless directed to do so by your doctor.
- Cover wound with proper dressing.
- Do not use Mupimet ointment if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients in the product.
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Keep out of reach of children.
