Product Information:

Thrombophob Ointment helps in vasodilation and rapid relief from pain. It contains heparin sodium and benzyl nicotinate that accelerate absorption of haematoma and other inflammatory infiltration such as thrombophlebitis, superficial thrombosis, acute tendovaginitis, superficial bruises, etc.

Ingredients:

Each g contains:

Heparin Sodium: 50 I.U, Benzyl Nicotinate 2 mg.

Preservative:

Sorbic Acid: 1.97 mg, Excipients: q.s.

Direction For Use:

•   Apply externally Thrombophob Ointment, strictly as directed by a registered health care professional, following the recommended dose and schedule.
•   The ointment should be carefully and thinly applied to the skin.
•   The ointment may also be spread on a piece of gauze which is placed over the area affected.
•   Rubbing in or massaging should be avoided in thrombosis and thrombophlebitis.
•   In ulcer cruris, Thrombophob ointment is applied only to the ulcer margins.
•   It is advised to continue the treatment for some days after the subsidence of the morbid manifestations.
•   Replace cap tightly after use.
•   Before using the product, carefully read the leaflet or label instructions provided with the product to ensure proper understanding and usage.

•   If allergic to any ingredients of Thrombophob Ointment, let the health care professional know straight away.
•   The physician should be well informed when the concomitant application of this one with another product.
•   The reddening of the skin which follow the application of Thrombophob Ointment is a sign of desired augmentation blood perfusion caused by Benzyl Nicotinate.
•   Mucous membrane especially the conjunctiva must not come in contact with Thrombophob.
•   Keep out of reach of children.
