About Ampoxin Dry Syp:

Ampoxin Dry Syrup is a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections.

24 gm Powder for 30 ml Suspension

After reconstitution, each 5 ml contains Ampicillin Trihydrate equivalent to Ampicillin 125 mg, Cloxacillin Sodium equivalent to Cloxacillin 125 mg.

Ampicillin and Cloxacillin both belong to a class of antibacterial medicines. Both medicines prevent bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Use of Ampoxin Dry Syp:

Ampoxin Dry Syrup is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections (bronchopneumonia, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis), fever associated with childbirth, septicemia, and bone infections (osteomyelitis), ear, nose, & throat infections; postoperative wound & lung infections.

Usage Direction of Ampoxin Dry Syp:

• Ampoxin Dry Syrup is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Add boiled and cooled water up to the ring on the bottle and shake vigorously.
• Adjust the volume up to the ring by adding more water if necessary.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Ampoxin Dry Syp:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Ampoxin Dry Syrup, inform the physician immediately.  
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this syrup with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consume within 3 days after reconstitution.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Ampoxin Dry Syp:

Store in a cool and dry place. Protect from moisture.

Store the reconstituted suspension below 25°C.
