This pungent strong flavoured mustard sauce has wide use in Bengali cusine and an essential for any Bengali kitchen. It goes well with tandoori dishes, kebabs, shellfish curries, sandwiches and tea time snacks. Avoiding water during preparation keeps this mustard relish preserved for a long time. If used with the right combinations it can also be an ingredient for continental dishes This is a variant of the traditional Bengali Kasundi with green chillies added to it.
