Savlon Mask is an advanced 5-layer mask that comes with an electrostatically charged melt blown filtration system that keeps one safe by providing more than 95% protection against particle aerosols of viruses, bacteria, pollen & dust. This mask is a Bureau of Indian Standards certified FFP2 mask, considered comparable to an N95 mask.
Features:
- 95% Filtration: Filters out 95% of particle aerosols that are >= 0.3 microns in size (including bio-aerosols of virus, bacteria dust, pollen, and allergy-causing particles).
- 5-Layer Protection: One outermost spun-bound layer, One innermost spun-bound layer. Three electrostatically charged melt-blown layers in between the outermost spun-bond layer and the innermost spun-bound layer.
- Electrostatically Charged: The electrostatic charging of the filters enhances the ability of the filtration fibers to attract and retain particles.
- Certified by BIS: FFP2 classification is the Indian Standard which follows the European Standard (EN-149:1991). The filtration efficacy of the FFP2 masks are considered comparable to that of NIOSH validated N95 respirators
- Tested for Breathing, Comfort & Skin-Compatibility: Savlon Masks are tested as per BIS standards so that they do not cause breathing resistance, any itching, or irritation to the skin and are comfortable to wear.
Usage Direction:
How to wear with Ear-loop only:
- Holding the mask by the ear-loops, place the mask on the face, covering your nose and chin, with nose clip facing up and outside.
- Pull ear-loops around each ear till the mask feels comfortable on your face.
- With your fingertips at the top of the nose clip press by sliding down along the shape of your nose bridge.
How to use the Head-Band converter strip:
- Hold mask by the ear loops, and place a loop on one side of the clamp provided.
- Place the loop holder at the back of the head and wear the mask on your face.
- From the other end now mount the loop to the other side of the band that is behind your head.
When to replace:
Remember the 3Ds to know when your mask can be no longer used:
- Difficulty in breathing while wearing the mask.
- Discoloration or dirt accumulation on the mask.
- Damage on the mask or foul smell from the mask.
Storage Conditions:
- Store between -20°C to +40°C.
- Keep out of reach of children.
