Pregnacare Breast Feeding Combipack contains 1 type of tablet and 1 type of capsule, where the tablet (formula A) is a health supplement and the capsule (formula B) is a nutraceutical supplement. It is specially formulated to support the nutritional requirements of new mothers throughout the postnatal period and while breastfeeding, during which a healthy, varied diet is vital to help produce nutritious breast milk and maintain maternal health and well-being. The postnatal micronutrient tablets (Formula A) are carefully formulated by experts, including calcium, vitamins K and D, zinc, and magnesium, which contribute to the maintenance of normal bones; calcium and vitamin K support normal blood clotting; and vitamin B6, iron, and magnesium contribute to normal energy release. The Omega-3 capsules (Formula B) provide DHA (docosahexaenoic acid); maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal brain and eye development of breast-fed infants, who have a limited capacity to synthesize fatty acids and must therefore obtain them directly from external sources such as mother’s milk.
