About Otrivin Paediatric Oxy Nasal Drops:

Otrivin Paediatric Oxy Nasal Drops contains oxymetazoline that gives fast relief from blocked nose or nasal congestion to children between 1 to 11 years age for up to 12 hours.

Composition:

Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride: 0.025% w/v in a buffed aqueous solution.

Preservative:

Benzalkonium Chloride: 0.01% w/v.

Uses Of Otrivin Paediatric Oxy Nasal Drops:

•   It gives fast relief from blocked nose or nasal congestion.

Usage Direction Of Otrivin Paediatric Oxy Nasal Drops:

•   Otrivin Paediatric Oxy Nasal Drops is intended for external use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
•   Only one person should use the bottle.
•   Before using, practice using the bottle as dropper to develop good dosage control.
•   Gently clear child’s nose.
•   Tilt the child’s head slightly backward.
•   Apply drops into each nostril without touching the nozzle and keep the head tilted back for a short time.
•   If partial drop gets into the nose, do not repeat the dose.
•   Be careful to avoid exposure to eyes.
•   Do not skip or stop using Otrivin Paediatric Oxy Nasal Drops without the physician’s advice.
•   Do not apply more than the recommended dose.
•   Replace cap immediately after use.
•   Before using, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Other Related Information Of Otrivin Paediatric Oxy Nasal Drops:

•   Otrivin Paediatric Oxy Nasal Drops is for children aged 1 to 11 years and to be administered under adult supervision only.
•   Do not use for more than three times daily into each nostril.
•   Wait atleast 8 hours between doses.
•   Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.
•   If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
•   The physician should be well informed when concomitant application of this one with with any other products.
•   If symptoms persist consult the doctor.
•   Not for use in children below 1 year of age.
•   In case of overdose, consult doctor immediately.
•   Close the bottle tightly after use.
•   Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Do not use if child:

•   Is allergic to any of the ingredients.
•   Has undergone transnasal surgery.
•   Has narrow angle glaucoma.
•   Has rhinitis sicca or atrophic rhinitis.

Seek medical advice before use if:

•   Child suffers from high blood pressure, heart disease, overactive thyroid, diabetes or phaeochromocytoma.
•   Child is taking or has taken anti-depressants in past 2 weeks.
•   In case of sudden/severe headache, stop use & seek immediate medical attention.

Tamper evident Feature:

•   Do not use the pack if cap seal is broken on the bottle.

Storage Condition Of Otrivin Paediatric Oxy Nasal Drops:

•   Store in tightly closed containers.
