About ORS Orange Flavour Sachet:

ORS Orange Flavour Sachet is advised for the replacement of fluid and electrolytes loss due to diarrhoea, vomiting and other conditions where there is a loss of water and electrolytes.

Composition:

Each sachet (22.2 g) contains:

Sodium Chloride: 2.6 g, Potassium Chloride: 1.5 g, Sodium Citrate: 2.9 g, Dextrose Anhydrous: 13.5 g., Excipients: q.s.

Each sachet (22.2 g) of ORS in 1 litre of water supplies electrolytes in the following concentrations:

Sodium: 75 m0smol/Litre, Potassium: 20 m0smol/Litre, Chloride: 65 m0smol/Litre, Citrate: 10 m0smol/Litre, Dextrose: 75 m0smol/Litre, Total Osmolarity: 245 m0smol/Litre.

Uses Of ORS Orange Flavour Sachet:

•   Used for the replacement of fluid and electrolytes loss due to various reasons.

Usage Direction Of ORS Orange Flavour Sachet:

•   ORS Orange Flavour Sachet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
•   Dissolve entire contents of the sachet in one litre of drinking water.
•   The dosage must be adjusted to the patient’s fluid maintenance and replacement requirements.
•   Use only in accordance with the recommended instructions.
•   Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
•   Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
•   Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Other Related Information Of  ORS Orange Flavour Sachet:

•   If allergic to any ingredients of ORS Orange Flavour Sachet, let the physician know straight away.
•   If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
•   The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with any other medicines or supplements.
•   Discard the unused solution after 24 hours.
•   Consult with the physician during pregnancy and lactation.
•   Keep out of reach of children.

Caution:

•   Individuals with depressed renal function, hypertension, diabetes, or heart disease should use under medical advice.
•    Severe ongoing diarrhoea or critical fluid losses may need additional parenteral fluids along with ORS.

•   Store in a dry place.
