About Ors (D.Morepen) Premium (Orange Flav) Liquid 200 ml:
Ors (D.Morepen) Premium (Orange Flav) Liquid is a WHO recommended ORS (Oral Rehydration Salt) formula. It restores body fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration.
Each pack of 200 ml contains:
Sodium Chloride 0.52 g, Potassium Chloride 0.30 g, Sodium Citrate 0.58 g, Dextrose (Anhydrous) 2.70 g and Excipients q.s.
200 ml of this product delivers electrolytes in the following concentration:
Sodium 75 mmol/lit, Potassium 20 mmol/lit, Chloride 65 mmol/lit, Citrate 10 mmol/lit and Dextrose 75 mmol/lit. Total Osmolarity is 245 mOsmol/lit.

- Potassium Chloride (KCl): is an extremely important electrolyte that functions in the maintenance of water balance and distribution, acid-base balance, muscle and nerve cell function, heart function, kidney and adrenal function.
- Dextrose Anhydrous: is the purest form of dextrose, commonly called glucose. Dextrose anhydrous provides instant energy. It is the primary ingredient in oral rehydration salts (ORS).
- Trisodium Citrate dihydrate: is a tribasic salt of citric acid. It is produced by complete neutralization of citric acid with high purity sodium source and subsequent crystallization.

- Ors (D.Morepen) Premium (Orange Flav) Liquid is intended for oral use only.
- The dose should be appropriately adjusted to patient’s requirement for maintenance and replacement of body fluids.
- The liquid should be consumed immediately after opening the pack.
- Ors (D.Morepen) Premium (Orange Flav) Liquid is not for injection.

- If hypersensitive or allergic to Ors (D.Morepen) Premium (Orange Flav) Liquid, inform the physician immediately.

- Caution should be observed in patients with depressed renal function.
- Severe continuing diarrhoea or other critical fluid losses may need supplementation with other parenteral fluids along with ORS.
