About Mypol Drop:
Mypol Drop belongs to the group of mild analgesics (pain killer) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) medicine indicated to ease mild to moderate pain and reduce fever in children.
Each ml. of Mypol Drop contains Paracetamol 100 mg.
Paracetamol exerts analgesic and antipyretic effects by peripheral blockage of pain impulse generation and inhibition of the hypothalamic heat-regulating center, respectively. It also exhibits weak anti-inflammatory activity by the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
Uses of Mypol Drop:
Mypol Drop is prescribed to ease mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. It is also used for the treatment of conditions including headache, migraine, backache, toothache, musculoskeletal pain, and common colds in children.
Usage Direction of Mypol Drop:
- Mypol Drop is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
- Mypol Drop is for paediatric use only.
- Shake well before use.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.
Precaution & Related information of Mypol Drop:
- If hypersensitive or allergic to Mypol Drop, inform the physician immediately.
- If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
- The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this drop with any other medicines or supplements.
- Should not be used with other Paracetamol containing products.
- Seek medical advice if the patient is suffering from liver or kidney impairment.
- Overdose may be injurious to liver, immediate medical assistance is required in the event of suspected overdose, even if symptoms of overdose are not present.
