About G Povida Scrub:

G Povida Scrub is a topical microbicidal solution, that is effective against bacteria, spores, fungi, yeast, protozoa and viruses. It is formulated with Povidone Iodine, which has anti-inflammatory & antiseptic properties used to heal wounds caused by infections and also used to disinfect hands & various surgical items.

Composition:

Povidone Iodine: 7.5% w/v (Available Iodine: 0.75% w/v), Non ionic detergent base: q.s

Uses Of G Povida Scrub:

•   Used as topical microbicidal.
•   Effective against bacteria, spores, fungi, yeast, protozoa and viruses.
•   Used to heal wounds caused by infections.
•   Used to disinfect hands & various surgical items.

Usage Direction Of G Povida Scrub:

•   G Povida Scrub is intended for external use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
•   Shake well before use.
•   Pre-operative scrubbing and washing of hands by surgeons and operation theatre staff, wet hands and forearms with purified water. Pour about 5 ml of surgical scrub on to the palm and rub the same thoroughly over the entire area for about 2 minutes. Use a brush if desires. Add a little water to develop copious suds. Finally rinse thoroughly under running water.
•   Pre-operative cleansing at the operative site, apply surgical scrub (1 ml. Sufficient to cover an area of 20-30 sq. In.) on the pre-shaved and wet skin and rub the same thoroughly for a minimum of 2 minutes. The lather so developed may be rinsed of with sterile gauge saturated with water. The area may then be painted with antiseptic solution and allow to dry.
•   Use full strength as often as needed.
•   Do not skip or stop using G Povida Scrub without the physician’s advice.
•   Do not apply more than the recommended dose.
•   Before using, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Other Related Information Of G Povida Scrub:

•   If allergic to any ingredients of G Povida Scrub, let the physician know straight away.
•   If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
•   The physician should be well informed when concomitant application of this one with any other products.
•   Replace the cap tightly after use.
•   Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
•   Keep out of reach of children.

Storage Condition Of G Povida Scrub:

•   Store in a dry & dark place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Do not freeze.
