About Electral (Orange Flavour) Sachet:

Electral Orange Flavour is an ORS formula, recommended by WHO. It is advised for the replacement of fluid & electrolytes and maintenance of hydration in diarrhea, vomiting, and other conditions where there is a loss of water and electrolytes.

Composition:

Each 4.40 g sachet contains:

Sodium Chloride: 0.52 g, Potassium Chloride: 0.30 g, Sodium Citrate: 0.58 g, Dextrose Anhydrous: 2.70 g, and Excipients q.s.

4.40 g of Electral Powder in 200 ml of water supplies electrolytes in the following concentrations:

Electrolytes mOsmol/Litre

Sodium: 75, Potassium: 20, Chloride: 65, Citrate: 10, Dextrose: 75, Total Osmolarity: 245

Use of Electral (Orange Flavour) Sachet:

•   Replace fluid and electrolytes
•   Maintains hydration in diarrhea, vomiting, and other conditions where there is a loss of water and electrolytes.

Usage Direction of Electral (Orange Flavour) Sachet:

•   Electral Orange Flavour Powder is recommended to consume orally in a dose & direction as advised by the health care professional.
•   Daily dose should be equivalent to the patient's fluid requirement for maintenance & replacement of losses.
•   Dissolve the entire contents of the sachet in 200 ml of drinking water.
•   Before consumption always go through the leaflet or label instructions that com with the product.

Precautions & Safety Related Information of Electral (Orange Flavour) Sachet:

•   If allergic to any ingredients of Electral Orange Flavour Powder let the health care professional know straight away.
•   If found any other complications, inform the health care professional immediately.
•   The health care professional should become aware of the concomitant consumption of this one with another medicine or supplement.
•   Use only in recommended dilution.
•   Any portion of the solution prepared from the oral powder that remains unused for 24 hours after preparation should be discarded.
•   Depressed renal function, severe continuing diarrhea or other critical fluid losses may need supplementation with other parenteral fluids along with Electral.
•   Use plastic or glass or stainless steel containers only.
•   This product is not for injection.
