About Electral Orange Flavour RTD ORS:
Electral Orange Flavour RTD ORS is a WHO-recommended, ready-to-drink ORS formula that is used for the replacement of fluid and electrolytes and maintenance of hydration in diarrhoea, vomiting and other conditions where there is a loss of water and electrolytes.
Composition:
Each pack (200 ml) contains:
Sodium Chloride: 0.52 g, Potassium Chloride: 0.30 g, Sodium Citrate: 0.58 g, Dextrose Anhydrous: 2.70 g, Excipients: q.s.
200 ml of Electral supplies electrolytes in the following concentrations:
Electrolytes mOsmol / Litre:
Sodium: 75, Potassium: 20, Chloride: 65 Citrate:10, Dextrose: 75
Total Osmolarity: 245
Use of Electral Orange Flavour RTD ORS:
Electral Orange Flavour RTD ORS is used for the replacement of fluid and electrolytes and maintenance of hydration in diarrhoea, vomiting and other conditions where there is a loss of water and electrolytes.
Usage direction of Electral Orange Flavour RTD ORS:
- Electral Orange Flavour RTD ORS is intended to consume orally in a dose and direction as directed by the physician.
- Daily dose should be equivalent to the patient’s fluid requirement for maintenance and replacement of losses.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the recommended quantity.
- Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.
Precautions & Safety Related Information of Electral Orange Flavour RTD ORS:
- If allergic to any ingredients of Electral Orange Flavour RTD ORS, let the physician know straight away.
- If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
- The physician should be well informed when the concomitant consumption of this one with another medicine or supplement.
- Caution: Depressed renal function. Severe continuing diarrhoea or other critical fluid losses may need supplementation with other parenteral fluids along with Electral.
- This product is not for injectional use.
- Do not buy/consume if the pack is puffed.
- Use the content within 24 hours after opening.
- Seek precautions during pregnancy and lactation.
- Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
