About Electral Assorted Flavour Sachet:

Electral Assorted Flavour Sachet is a W.H.O based formula, advised for the replacement of fluid and electrolytes loss due to diarrhoea, vomiting and other conditions where there is a loss of water and electrolytes. It consits of 5 assorted flavours such as Blackcurrant Blast, Fresh Mango, Pinacolada Punch, Lychee Burst and Shikanji Lime.

Composition:

Each 4.40 g Sachet of contains:

Sodium Chloride: 0.52 g, Potassium Chloride: 0.30 g, Sodium Citrate: 0.58 g, Dextrose Anhydrous: 2.70 g, Excipients: q.s.

4.40 g Of Electral Powder in 200 ml of water supplies electrolytes in the following concentrations:

Sodium: 75 mOsmol/Litre, Potassium: 20 mOsmol/Litre, Chloride: 65 mOsmol/Litre, Citrate: 10 mOsmol/Litre, Dextrose: 75 mOsmol/Litre, Total Osmolarity: 245 mOsmol/Litre.

Uses Of Electral Assorted Flavour Sachet:

•   Used for the replacement of fluid and electrolytes loss due to various reasons.

Usage Direction Of Electral Assorted Flavour Sachet:

•   Electral Assorted Flavour Sachet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
•   The dosage should be equivalent to patient’s fluid requirement for maintenance and replacement of losses.
•   Use one sachet of 4.40 g of one flavour in 200 ml water.
•   Use only in recommended dilution.
•   Any portion of the solution prepared from the oral powder that remains unused for 24 hours after preparation should be discarded.
•   Use plastic/ glass/ stainless steel tumbler only, for reconstitution.
•   Do not mix 5 flavours to make 1 L solution.
•   Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
•   Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
•   Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

•   If allergic to any ingredients of Electral Assorted Flavour Sachet, let the physician know straight away.
•   If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
•   The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with any other medicines or supplements.
•   Electral Assorted Flavour Sachet is not used for injection.
•   Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
•   Keep out of reach of children.

Caution:

•   Depressed renal function.
•   Severe continuing diarrhoeas or other critical fluid losses may need supplementation with other parenteral fluids long with Electral.
