About Dolonex Gel:
Dolonex Gel is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) indicated for symptomatic relief of Low back pain, Muscular pain, Osteoarthritis, Sprains, and strains.
Each gram of Dolonex Gel contains Piroxicam 5 mg.
Piroxicam belongs to a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory class of drug. It works by blocking COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandin, the compound responsible for causing pain and inflammation in the body.
Use of Dolonex Gel:
Dolonex Gel is prescribed for relieving pain and inflammation associated with Low back pain, Muscular pain, Osteoarthritis, Sprains, and strains.
Usage Direction of Dolonex Gel:
- Dolonex Gel is intended for external use only as advised.
- Use reverse of cap to pierce protective seal on the tube.
- Apply Dolonex Gel to the surface of the affected part.
- Rub gently into the affected area until it disappears completely.
- Secure the cap tightly after use.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the doctor’s advice.
- Do not apply more than the prescribed quantity.
Precaution & Related information of Dolonex Gel:
- Do not use without consulting the doctor if allergic to medicines for pain or pregnant / breastfeeding.
- Discontinue and consult your doctor if irritation, redness, itching or rash develops.
- The Physician should be well informed when the concomitant application of this gel with any other medicine.
- Do not apply on broken skin.
- Do not cover the affected part with dressing / bandage.
- Protect eyes, nose, mouth and genital and regions when applying the gel.
- Wash hands after each application.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Storage condition of Dolonex Gel:
- Store below 30°C. Do not freeze.
