Usage Direction:

  •   To expose the plunger, twist off the bottom cap to break the tamper-proof seal.
  •   To expose the needle, twist off the top cap to break the tamper-proof seal. Pull straight off to avoid damaging needlepoint.
  •   To measure correct dosage align the piston seal’s top line to your dosage mark on the syringe scale.
  •   Use once only. To prevent misuse after injection destroys syringe and needle.
  •   For use with U-40 insulin only.

Safety Information:

  •   Do not attempt to resterilize and reuse.
  •   For administration 40 units or less of insulin concentration U-40.
  •   Before use check the integrity of tamper-proof heat-staked seals where end caps and barrel meet. The fluid path of the syringe is guaranteed to be sterile if the syringe has not been opened or damaged.
  •   For patients who mix two types of insulin, do not change (a) The order of mixing that the physician has prescribed or (b) the model and brand of syringe and needle without first consulting your physician or pharmacist. Failure to heed this warning can result in dosage error.
  •   Before changing to a shorter needle consult your physician.
