About Crocin (Strawberry Flavour) 120 mg Suspension:
Crocin (Strawberry Flavour) 120 mg Suspension is a paracetamol containing analgesics (pain killer) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) paediatric oral suspension, indicated to ease mild to moderate pain and reduce fever in children.
Paracetamol exerts analgesic and antipyretic effects by peripheral blockage of pain impulse generation and inhibition of the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre, respectively. It also exhibits weak anti-inflammatory activity by the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
Composition:
Each 5 ml contains:
Paracetamol: 120 mg in a flavoured syrup base.
Colour: Carmoisine.

Crocin (Strawberry Flavour) 120 mg Suspension to ease mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. It is also used for the treatment of conditions including headache, backache, toothache, musculoskeletal pain, and common colds in children.
Usage Direction of Crocin (Strawberry Flavour) 120 mg Suspension:
- Crocin (Strawberry Flavour) 120 mg Suspension is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
- Shake well before use.
- Do not take for more than 3 days without asking doctor.
- Do not exceed stated dose.
- Minimum dosing interval 4 hours. Use smallest dose, for shortest period necessary.
- Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.
Precaution & Related Information of Crocin (Strawberry Flavour) 120 mg Suspension:
- Do not use with other paracetamol containing products, if allergic to paracetamol/any ingredient in the product, aspirin/non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
- Seek medical advice if symptoms persist or patient is suffering from liver/kidney problems or taking blood thinning medication/overdose/allergy/unexplained bleeding/severe infection/underweight/malnourished.
- Always follow label.
- The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with any other medicines or supplements.
- Taking more than max recommended daily dose of paracetamol may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (e.g. swelling of the face, mouth and throat, difficulty in breathing, itching or rash).
- This product is not recommended in babies under 1 month.
