About Cipla ORS Prolyte Orange Liquid:

Cipla ORS Prolyte Orange Liquid helps restore body fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration and diarrhea. It is a ready-to-drink oral rehydration formula, useful in diarrhea and various other etiologies where there is a loss of water and electrolytes. It is essential for the replacement of fluids, electrolytes, and hydration maintenance.

Composition:

Each pack of 200 ml contains:

Sodium Chloride: 0.52 g, Potassium Chloride: 0.30 g, Sodium Citrate: 0.58 g, Dextrose Anhydrous: 2.70 g, Excipients: q.s.

200 ml of ORS delivers electrolytes in following concentrations:

Sodium: 75 mOsmol/litre, Potassium: 20 mOsmol/litre, Chloride: 65 mOsmol/litre, Citrate: 10 mOsmol/litre, Dextrose: 75 mOsmol/litre, Total Osmolarity: 245 mOsmol/litre.

Usage Direction of Cipla ORS Prolyte Orange Liquid:

•   Cipla ORS Prolyte Orange Liquid is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
•   The dosage should be appropriately adjusted to the patient’s requirement for maintenance and replacement of fluids.
•   Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
•   Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
•   Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Other Related Information of Cipla ORS Prolyte Orange Liquid:

•   If allergic to any ingredients of Cipla ORS Prolyte Orange Liquid, let the physician know straight away.
•   If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
•   The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with any other medicines or supplements.
•   Cipla ORS Prolyte Orange Liquid is not used for injection.
•   Use the content within 24 hours after opening.
•   Do not buy/consume, if the pack is puffed.
•   Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
•   Keep out of reach of children.

Caution:

•   Depressed renal function. Severe continuing diarrhoea or other critical fluids losses may need supplementation with other parenteral fluids along with ORS.

•   Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
