About Zuker MF Tablet:

Zuker MF Tablet is a combination of two anti-diabetic medications, used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Each bilayered modified-release Zuker MF Tablet contains Gliclazide 80 mg and Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg (In prolonged-release form).

Gliclazide is an antidiabetic sulphonylurea. It increases insulin sensitivity at peripheral target sites by stimulating insulin release from the pancreatic ß-cells. It also reduces insulin uptake and glucose output of the liver.

Metformin is a biguanide antihyperglycaemic agent which improves glucose tolerance by lowering both basal and postprandial plasma glucose. It decreases hepatic glucose production, delays intestinal glucose absorption, and improves insulin sensitivity by enhancing peripheral glucose uptake and utilization.

Uses of Zuker MF Tablet:

Zuker MF Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control high blood glucose levels.

Usage Direction of Zuker MF Tablet:

• Zuker MF Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Zuker MF Tablet should be swallowed as a whole.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.
• Before consumption please check the package insert leaflet.

Precaution & Related information of Zuker MF Tablet:

• Caution: It is dangerous to take this preparation except under medical supervision.
• If hypersensitive or allergic to Zuker MF Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Zuker MF Tablet:

• Store below 30°C. Protect from light & moisture.
