Zostum 1.5 gm Injection

About Zostum 1.5 gm Injection:

Each vial  Zostum 1.5 gm Injection contains Sulbactam Sodium equivalent to Sulbactam 0.5 g, Cefoperazone Sodium equivalent to Cefoperazone 1 g. This pack contains Sterile Water for Injection 20 ml.

Use of Zostum 1.5 gm Injection:

Zostum 1.5 gm Injection is used for the treatment of:

• Respiratory tract infection (upper and lower)
• Urinary tract infections (upper and lower)
• Peritonitis, cholecystitis, cholangitis and other intra-abdominal infections
• Septicaemia
• Meningitis
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Bone and joint infections
• Pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, gonorrhoea and other infections of the genital tract

Usage direction of Zostum 1.5 gm Injection:

• Zostum 1.5 gm Injection is intended for intramuscular and subcutaneous use only.
• Physician will advise the right dose & duration of administration of Zostum 1.5 gm Injection as per the patient’s condition. Kindly do not self-administer.
• Please check the package leaflet or label instruction before administration.
• Use immediately after reconstitution.
• Any unused portion must be discarded.
• After reconstitution, do not use in case any foreign particulate matter is observed inside the vial.
• Do not accept if seal is broken.
• Dispose the needle after use.

Precaution & Related information of Zostum 1.5 gm Injection:

• If allergic to Zostum 1.5 gm Injection, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store below 25ºC and protect from light.
