About Zentel Tablet:

Zentel tablet is an anthelmintic medication, used for the treatment of parasitic worm infections.

Each uncoated chewable Zentel tablet contains Albendazole 400 mg.

Albendazole is an anthelmintic that inhibits the microtubule formation by binding to the colchicine-sensitive site of ß-tubulin. This decreased microtubule formation leads to a decline in glucose uptake and depletion of glycogen storage by the adult and larval forms of susceptible parasites. Insufficient glucose causes a lack of ATP production, resulting in the death of parasites.

Uses of Zentel Tablet:

Zentel tablet is prescribed for treatment of single or mixed intestinal parasitic worm infections. It kills the worms that cause infections and prevents newly hatched worms from multiplying.
