About Zedott DT 30 mg Tablet:
Zedott DT 30 mg Tablet is a class of anti-diarrheal medication indicated for the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea.
Each uncoated dispersible Zedott DT 30 mg Tablet contains Racecadotril 30 mg.
Racecadotril is an anti-secretory enkephalinase inhibitor that prevents the degradation of Enkephalins, thereby prolonging their action at enkephalinergic synapses in the small intestine. This action reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine, thus preventing diarrhea and associated symptoms.
Use of Zedott DT 30 mg Tablet:
Zedott DT 30 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of acute symptomatic diarrhea in adults and children over three months of age. This medicine is used when an abundant liquid intake and the usual dietary measures are not sufficiently effective on their own to control diarrhea.

- Zedott DT 30 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the Physician.
