About Vibicort 6 mg Tablet:

Each Vibicort 6 mg tablet contains Deflazacort 6 mg.

Vibicort 6 mg tablet is a corticosteroid pro-drug, whose active metabolite 21-desacetyl deflazacort binds to the glucocorticoid receptor to exert anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects on the body.

Use of Vibicort 6 mg Tablet:

Vibicort 6 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of various disease conditions, including autoimmune disorders (rheumatoid arthritis), inflammatory disorders (asthma & allergies), neoplastic disorders, and other steroid-responsive disorders. It is also useful in duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Usage direction of Vibicort 6 mg Tablet:

  • Vibicort 6 mg tablet should be taken orally.
  • Vibicort 6 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
