About Velfu Tablet:
Velfu tablet is prescribed to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Each film coated prolonged-release Velfu tablet contains Alfuzosin Hydrochloride 10 mg and Excipients q.s.
Alfuzosin is a quinazoline derivative that exhibits selectivity for alpha1-adrenergic receptors in the lower urinary tract. Blockade of these adrenoreceptors causes relaxation of smooth muscle in the bladder neck and prostate, resulting in improvement in urine flow and a reduction in symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Use of Velfu Tablet:
Velfu tablet contains Alfuzosin, which is an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker. Velfu tablet is prescribed in the symptomatic treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).
Usage direction of Velfu Tablet:
- Velfu tablet should be taken orally.
- Velfu tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
- Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
