About Valance OD Eazy Glide 1 g Tablet:

Valance OD Eazy Glide 1 g Tablet is used as monotherapy and adjunctive therapy in the treatment of epilepsy.

Each film-coated prolonged-release Valance OD Eazy Glide 1 g Tablet contains Divalproex Sodium equivalent to Valproic Acid 1000 mg.

Divalproex sodium is a generic term used to describe valproic acid, its salts, and derivatives. Divalproex sodium is a carboxylic acid anticonvulsant. It has been suggested that its antiepileptic activity is related to increased brain levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).

Uses of Valance OD Eazy Glide 1 g Tablet:

Valance OD Eazy Glide 1 g Tablet is prescribed to treat following conditions:

  • As a monotherapy and adjunctive therapy in the treatment of epilepsy. It helps to prevent and control various types of seizures (complex partial seizures, simple and complex absence seizures, multiple seizure types that include absence seizures).
  • Prophylaxis of migraine.
  • Acute treatment of manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder, with or without psychotic features.

Usage Direction of Valance OD Eazy Glide 1 g Tablet:

  • Valance OD Eazy Glide 1 g Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Valance OD Eazy Glide 1 g Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush or chew the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Valance OD Eazy Glide 1 g Tablet:

  • Warning: This medicine can seriously harm an unborn baby. Always use effective contraception during the treatment.
  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Valance OD Eazy Glide 1 g Tablet.
  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
  • The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Valance OD Eazy Glide 1 g Tablet with any other medication.
