About Urimax F Capsule:

Urimax F Capsule is a combination medicine, indicated to treat signs and symptoms of the enlarged prostate gland in men.

Each hard gelatin Urimax F capsule contains Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 0.4 mg (As modified-release pellets), and Finasteride 5 mg (As film-coated tablet).

Tamsulosin belongs to a class of alpha-blockers. By relaxing the smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, it improves urine flow, thereby, suppressing the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Finasteride belongs to a class of antiandrogen medicines. It acts by decreasing the production of a certain natural hormone (dihydrotestosterone) in the body, responsible for the development and enlargement of the prostate gland.
