About Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen :

Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen is Insulin Glargine injection (Monocomponent Insulin Glargine r-DNA origin). 1 pre-filled pen of 1.5 ml (450 U). Each ml Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen contains Insulin Glargine 300 U, m-Cresol 0.27% w/v (as preservative) and Excipients q.s.

Use of Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen :

Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen is prescribed for the treatment Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen :

  • Doctor will advise the right dose & duration of administration as per the patient’s condition.
  • Before using Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen know the process of adjusting pen. For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of the package insert.
  • Double check to make sure it’s the correct pen and correct dose.
  • Administer subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen and rotate the injection sites.
  • Don’t use the pen if the insulin looks cloudy, colored, or contains particles.

Precaution & Related information of Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen :

  • Do not share your pen with other people, even if the needle has been changed.
  • Do not take Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen if you have low blood sugar or if you are allergic to insulin or any of the ingredients in Toujeo Solostar.
  • Please take precaution during the use of Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
  • Do not dilute or mix Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen with any other insulin or solution.
  • Keep medicines out of reach and sight of children.
  • Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
  • Storage: Unopened/not in use pre-filled pen - Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen must be stored between +2°C (36°F) and +8°C (46°F) in a refrigerator and protect from light. Do not allow the insulin to freeze, discard if frozen.
  • Opened/in use pre-filled pen - Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen must be discarded after 28 days from the first use. The open pre-filled pen of Toujeo Solostar Injection 300 IU/ml Pen should be kept away from direct heat and light at room temperature (below 30°C [86 °F]).
  • Replace the cap to protect pen until your next injection.
