About ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule:

ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule is a combination medication, indicated for relieving severe muscle pain and spasms.

Each hard gelatin ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule contains Thiocolchicoside 4 mg and Diclofenac Sodium 50 mg (As an enteric-coated tablet) and Paracetamol 325 mg.

Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. By acting on receptors in the nervous system, it regulates muscle function, thereby, relieving muscle stiffness, reducing pain, and improving muscle movement.

Diclofenac belongs to a class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines. It acts by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandin, a substance responsible for causing pain and inflammation.

Paracetamol exerts analgesic action by blocking the pain impulse generation and also produces antipyretic activity by inhibiting the heat-regulating center in the brain.

ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule is prescribed for relieving severe muscle pain and spasms.

Usage Direction of ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule:

• ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule should be swallowed whole.
• Do not chew the capsule.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.                                              

Precaution & Related information of ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule.  
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule with any other medication.
• Warning: Taking more than daily dose of Paracetamol may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (e.g. swelling of the face, mouth and throat, difficulty in breathing, itching or rash).
• ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule is not for Veterinary use.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of ThioQuest DP 4 mg Capsule:

Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light.
