Taklin Eye Drop 10 ml

About Taklin Eye Drop:

Taklin Eye Drop is effectively used in pre and post operative cataract care, where it creates a physical barrier between the anterior and posterior segments of the eye after extracapsular cataract surgery. It is also used in Opacity and lenticular sclerosis.

Each ml of Taklin Eye Drop contains Potassium Iodide 3.3% w/v, Sodium Chloride 0.83% w/v and Calcium Chloride Dihydrate 1.0% w/v.

Preservative:

Sodium Methyl Hydroxybenzoate eq. to Methyl Hydroxybenzoate 0.023% w/v, Sodium Propyl Hydroxybenzoate eq. to Propyl Hydroxybenzoate 0.011% w/v (As Preservative) and Sterile aqueous vehicle q.s.

Use of Taklin Eye Drop:

Usage direction of Taklin Eye Drop:

• Taklin Eye Drop is intended for ophthalmic use only in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Before applying this eye drop, wash hands first.
• Shake well before use.
• Tighten the cap on the nozzle as shown. Then the spike in the cap will pierce the tip of the vial. Dispense drops with gentle pressure. Replace the cap after every use.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Don’t use more than the prescribed quantity.
• It is advised to check the label or package insert leaflet before apply.

Precaution & Related information of Taklin Eye Drop:

• If allergic to Taklin Eye Drop, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• If irritation persists or increases, discontinue the use and consult with the physician.
• Taklin Eye Drop is for external use only, not for injection.
• Do not touch the nozzle tip to any surface as this may contaminate the solution.
• Use the solution within one month after opening the vial.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Taklin Eye Drop:

• Store below 30°C. Protect from light. Do not freeze.
