About Synriam 150 mg/750 mg Tablet:

Synriam 150 mg/750 mg tablet is a combination of two anti-malarial medicine used to treat malaria.

Each film-coated Synriam 150 mg/750 mg tablet contains Arterolane Maleate equivalent to Arterolane 150 mg, Piperaquine Phosphate 750 mg, and excipients q.s.

Artesunate is an artemisinin derivative that is metabolized to DHA, which generates free radicals to inhibit the normal function of Plasmodium parasites during all erythrocytic stages. Reactions with these free radicals can also lead to the alkylation of parasitic proteins such as calcium adenosine triphosphatase and EXP1, a glutathione S-transferase.

Piperaquine is thought to function by accumulating in the parasite digestive vacuole and interfering with the detoxification of heme into hemozoin.

Synriam 150/750mg Tablet is a combination medicine that is prescribed for the treatment of malaria. It prevents the growth of the parasites in the body and fights against the infection.

Usage direction of Synriam 150 mg/750 mg Tablet:

  • Synriam 150 mg/750 mg Tablet should be taken orally, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
  • Synriam 150 mg/750 mg Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not stop or skip the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
