About Sympta 20 mg Tablet:

Sympta 20 mg Tablet is an antidepressant medication, used to treat the symptoms of major depressive disorders and generalized anxiety disorder.

Each gastro-resistant Sympta 20 mg Tablet contains Duloxetine Hydrochloride equivalent to Duloxetine 20 mg.

Duloxetine is a potent inhibitor of neuronal serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake. This inhibition helps maintain the mental balance. Duloxetine has no significant affinity for adrenergic, muscarinic, cholinergic, histaminergic, opioid, glutamate, and GABA receptors. It also does not inhibit monoamine oxidase.

Use of Sympta 20 mg Tablet:

Sympta 20 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of major depressive disorders and generalized anxiety disorder. It can also be used in diabetic neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and stress urinary incontinence.

Usage Direction of Sympta 20 mg Tablet:

• Sympta 20 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the psychiatrist.
• Sympta 20 mg Tablet should be swallowed whole.
• Do not chew or crush the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the psychiatrist’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Sympta 20 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Sympta 20 mg Tablet, inform the psychiatrist immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the psychiatrist immediately.
• The psychiatrist should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the psychiatrist during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Sympta 20 mg Tablet:

• Store protected from moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
