About Stafcure 1.5 gm Injection:

Stafcure 1.5 gm Injection is an antibiotic, used for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infection.

Each vial Stafcure 1.5 gm Injection contains Cefuroxime Sodium equivalent to Sterile Cefuroxime 1.5 gm

Cefuroxime is a beta-lactam antibiotic, which inhibits bacterial cell wall biosynthesis by binding to specific penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), thus arresting cell wall assembly resulting in bacterial cell death.

Use of Stafcure 1.5 gm Injection:

Stafcure 1.5 gm Injection is prescribed for the treatment of many different types of bacterial infections such as bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, ear infections, gonorrhea, urinary tract infections, skin & soft tissue infections, etc.

Usage direction of Stafcure 1.5 gm Injection:

• Stafcure 1.5 gm Injection is intended for Intramuscular and Intravenous injection only.
• For dosage and administration please check the package leaflet or label instruction.
• Stafcure 1.5 gm Injection is given under the supervision of the physician. Kindly do not self-administer.
• For Intravenous administration: Each 1.5 gram vial should be reconstituted with 16 ml of sterile water for injection, and the solution should be completely withdrawn for injection.
• For Intramuscular administration: 1.5 gram vial reconstituted as directed and should be diluted with 100 ml sterile water for injection.
• Dispose the needle after use.

Precaution & Related information of Stafcure 1.5 gm Injection:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• After reconstitution, it should be used within 5 hours of preparation if stored at temperature below 25°C or within 48 hours if stored between 2°C to 10°C.
• Discard remaining sterile water for injection.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Stafcure 1.5 gm Injection:

Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light.
