About Spenzo 1 mg Tablet:
Spenzo 1 mg tablet is an antipsychotic medication used to treat schizophrenia.
Each film coated Spenzo 1 mg tablet contains Flupentixol Hydrochloride equivalent to Flupentixol 1 mg and Excipients q.s.
Flupentixol, a thioxanthene derivative antipsychotic agent, inhibits the postsynaptic dopamine receptors in the CNS which results in the blockage of dopamine-mediated effects.
Use of Spenzo 1 mg Tablet:
Spenzo 1 mg tablet is prescribed for the management of psychosis (including delusions, hallucinations, paranoia, or disordered thought), principally in schizophrenia but also in a range of other psychotic disorders. It can also be used to treat depression with or without anxiety.
Usage direction of Spenzo 1 mg Tablet:
- Spenzo 1 mg tablet should be taken orally.
- Spenzo 1 mg tablet should be swallowed whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
- Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
