Product Description:

SkinTemp M Sterile Collagen Sheet is a Sterile wet biological dressing, which is intended for use:

• 2nd degree, non-infected burns, superficial and deep dermal burns.
• 3rd degree burns, as a temporary cover after escharectomy / tangential excision skin donor sites.
• Skin Ulcer (chronic) - Stasis, Arterial or Tropic, Pressure ulcers (shallow) and Leprosy ulcers.
• Dermabrasion traumatic loss of skin cover. Open fractures as temporary skin cover.

Contents:

Sterile Collagen Sheet in preserving medium containing isopropyl alcohol and water.

Usage Direction:

• SkinTemp M Sterile Collagen Sheet is intended for external use only.
• Pre Application: Clean and decontaminate the wound thoroughly. Debride infected or necrotic wounds thoroughly. Ensure satisfactory heamostasis on skin donor sites.
• Application: Remove SkinTemp M wet sheet, squeeze gently & rinse thoroughly in sterile saline, to remove the preserving medium. Apply SkinTemp M wet sheet firmly on the raw area for good adhesion and ensure air bubbles are removed. Avoid overstretching the sheet as it may tear the SkinTemp M wet sheet. Sheet may be applied on either surface.
• Post Application: The option of secondary dressing is left to the Doctor's choice. SkinTemp M wet sheet peels off as epithelialization occurs. In cases where adhered sheet SkinTemp M sheet wet preserved has to be removed from the wound, a pad moistened with saline can be applied over SkinTemp M wet sheet for a few minutes, to assist easy removal.
• SkinTemp M Sterile Collagen Sheet should be use by registered medical practitioners/hospital/laboratory only.

Safety & Related Information:

• Avoid using SkinTemp M wet sheet on patients who are hypersensitive to collagen.
• Grossly infected wounds may reject SkinTemp M wet sheets.
• Discard the preserving fluid.
• Sterility not guaranteed if the pack is damaged or open.
• Do not use if package is damaged.
• Do not reuse.

Storage Conditions:

• Store below 40°C temperature .
• Keep out of reach of children.

Note:

• Repeat dressing may not required unless SkinTemp M wet sheet is rejected due to underlying pus or complication.
• For Chronic skin ulcers, 2-3 applications of SkinTemp M wet sheet in intervals of 3-4 days. after a thorough debridement. cleaning should enhance healing.
• SkinTemp M wet sheet promotes healthy granulation in deep wounds for early grafting.
