About Sinate OD Tablet:

Sinate OD Tablet is a combination medicine, indicated to prevent nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

Each enteric-coated tablet contains Doxylamine Succinate 20 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride 20 mg, Folic acid 5 mg.

Doxylamine belongs to a class of antihistamine medicines. It prevents nausea and vomiting by inhibiting the action of a certain chemical (histamine) in the vomiting center.

Pyridoxine is vitamin B6. It blocks the enhancement of gene expression by steroid hormones which stimulate cells of the vomiting center. In this way, it prevents nausea and vomiting.

Folic acid is a type of vitamin B. It is used to replenish nutritional deficiency and prevent pregnancy complications.

Use of Sinate OD Tablet:

Sinate OD Tablet is prescribed for the prevention of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

Usage Direction of Sinate OD Tablet:

  • Sinate OD Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Sinate OD Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Sinate OD Tablet:

  • If hypersensitive or allergic to Sinate OD Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
  • If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
  • The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
