About Seroflo 500 mcg Rotacap:

Seroflo 500 mcg rotacap is used to manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Each capsule contains Salmeterol (As Salmeterol Xinafoate) 50 mcg and Fluticasone Propionate 500 mcg.

Salmeterol is an agonist of beta2-adrenergic receptors (found predominantly in bronchial smooth muscle). Beta-2 adrenoceptor stimulation causes relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle, bronchodilation, and increased airflow.

Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic, trifluorinated glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. It exerts its beneficial effects by inhibiting several types of cells and mediators involved in allergic, immune, and inflammatory responses.

Use of Seroflo 500 mcg Rotacap:

Seroflo 500 mcg rotacap is indicated in the regular treatment of asthma, where the use of a combination (long-acting beta2-agonist and inhaled corticosteroid) has been found to be appropriate, and in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Usage direction of Seroflo 500 mcg Rotacap:

• Seroflo 500 mcg rotacap is meant for inhalation only and are not to be swallowed.

• Before using Seroflo 500 mcg rotacap, know the administration process properly from the enclosed leaflet.

• Seroflo 500 mcg rotacap is intended for inhalation through rotahaler/revolizer only.

• After taking your medicine rinse your mouth with water and spit out.

• Keep the container tightly closed.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

• Do not discontinue without physician’s advice.
