About Seroflo 50 mcg/500 mcg Ciphaler:

Seroflo 50 mcg/500 mcg Ciphaler is used to manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Each blister Seroflo 50 mcg/500 mcg Ciphaler contains 72.5 mcg of Salmeterol Xinafoate equivalent to 50 mcg of Salmeterol base and 500 mcg of Fluticasone Propionate with Lactose.

Salmeterol is an agonist of beta2-adrenergic receptors (found predominantly in bronchial smooth muscle). Beta-2 adrenoceptor stimulation causes relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle, bronchodilation, and increased airflow.

Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic, trifluorinated glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. It exerts its beneficial effects by inhibiting several types of cells and mediators involved in allergic, immune, and inflammatory responses.

Use of Seroflo 50 mcg/500 mcg Ciphaler:

Seroflo 50 mcg/500 mcg Ciphaler is indicated in the regular treatment of asthma, where the use of a combination (long-acting beta2-agonist and inhaled corticosteroid) has been found to be appropriate, and in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Usage direction of Seroflo 50 mcg/500 mcg Ciphaler:

• Seroflo 50 mcg/500 mcg Ciphaler is meant for oral inhalation only and are not to be swallowed.

• Before using Seroflo 50 mcg/500 mcg Ciphaler , know the administration process properly from the enclosed leaflet.

• Keep the container closed after each use.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

• Do not discontinue without physician’s advice.
