About Sensiclav Drops:

Sensiclav Drops are a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections in children.

One bottle of Amoxycillin and Potassium Clavulanate Oral Suspension

Each 1ml of the reconstituted suspension of Sensiclav Drops contain Amoxycillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxycillin 80 mg and Potassium Clavulanate Diluted equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 11.4 mg.

One ampoule (FFS) of Sterile Water for Injections 10 ml

Amoxycillin belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Clavulanic acid belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It acts by inactivating some beta-lactamase enzymes that are produced by bacteria, thereby, preventing bacteria from destroying Amoxycillin.

Uses of Sensiclav Drops:

Sensiclav Drops are prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including lower respiratory tract infections, otitis media (ear infection), sinusitis (sinus infection), skin & skin structure infections, and urinary tract infections in children.

Usage Direction of Sensiclav Drops:

• Sensiclav Drops are intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Sensiclav Drops are for paediatric use only.
• Shake bottle to loosen powder.
• Twist and open the vial of sterile water given with the pack.
• Slowly add sterile water into the bottle up to ring mark on the label.
• Put the cap and shake the bottle vigorously.
• Adjust the volume up to ring mark by adding more sterile water, if necessary and shake again.
• Any extra portion left to be thrown away.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Sensiclav Drops:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Sensiclav Drops.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Sensiclav Drops with any other medication.
• Content to be consumed within 7 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Sensiclav Drops:

Store in cool and dry place. Protect from light. Do not refrigerate.

After Reconstitution:

Store the reconstituted suspension in the refrigerator.
