Composition:

Each mL contains Semaglutide 5 mg, Phenol 4.5 mg, and water for Injections q.s.

Pack Contains: One pre-filled cartridge of 3 ml Semanext Injection, supplied along with ten Ultra-Fine needles, one dose card and one package insert.

• Usage Direction

Semanext Injection is intended for use with pen injector devices for the subcutaneous use only and should be administered by an endocrinologists, internal medicine specialists, and cardiologists. It should be injected into areas of the body with a layer of fat just beneath the skin, such as the upper thigh, upper arm, or abdomen. Do not inject Semanext into a muscle (intramuscularly) or vein (intravenously). To reduce the risk of skin irritation, the injection site should be rotated each week. Do not attempt to self-administer this medication. Your endocrinologists, internal medicine specialists, and cardiologists will determine the appropriate dosage based on your medical condition and how you respond to treatment. Do not stop or alter the dose of Semanext Injection without consulting your endocrinologists, internal medicine specialists, and cardiologists, as this may prevent you from achieving the desired result. Each injection pen is meant for single-person use only.

• Missed Dose

If a dose is missed and the next scheduled dose is more than 48 hours (2 days) away, the missed dose should be administered as soon as possible. If less than 48 hours (2 days) remain before the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular schedule. Patients using Semanext should not take an extra dose to compensate for a missed dose.

• Overdose

In case of overdose, symptoms may include severe nausea, vomiting, and low blood sugar. Immediate medical attention is recommended. Supportive care and monitoring are usually required as there is no specific antidote for Semanext Injection.

Contraindications of Semanext Injection:

Do not use Semanext Injection if you are allergic or hypersensitive to Semaglutide or any of its components. Additionally, Semanext is contraindicated in patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

Semanext should be avoided in individuals with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC). It is also not recommended for patients with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), a genetic disorder that increases the risk of thyroid cancer.

Semanext Injection is also contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity (allergic reaction) to Semaglutide or any of its excipient ingredients. Additionally, Semanext Injection should not be combined with other Semaglutide-containing products or with any other GLP-1 receptor agonist medicines.

Before starting Semanext, inform your endocrinologists, internal medicine specialists, and cardiologists about your medical history, especially if you have or have had pancreatic or kidney problems, or Type 2 Diabetes with a history of diabetic retinopathy. • Always remove and safely discard the needle after each injection and store the pen without an injection needle attached.
• Always use a new needle for each injection.
• Keep out of reach of children.
