About Salizoic Ointment:

Salizoic Ointment contains Salicylic Acid 3% w/w as an active ingredient, in an Ointment base q.s. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic (peeling agent) class of medication. Salizoic Ointment is intended for topical dermatological use only.

Use of Salizoic Ointment:

Salizoic Ointment contains Salicylic Acid which is beneficial for the following condition:

  • Increases skin hydration by shedding of the outer layer of skin. Useful in dry & scaly skin condition.
  • Soften the hardened external skin layer .Useful in treating warts and corns.
  • Causing skin cells to slough off more readily, preventing pores from clogging up. Useful in treating acne.

Usage direction of Salizoic Ointment:

  • Salizoic ointment should be applied topically as per doctor’s advice. Doctor will advise the right dose and the duration of use as per the patient condition.
  • Puncture nozzle seal with piercing of the cap.
  • keep the tube tightly close after use.
  • Follow the physician advice & package information for proper direction of usage.
