About Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet:

Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet is a bronchodilator group of medicines indicated for the management of bronchospasm in patients with reversible obstructive airway diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other lung diseases.

Each uncoated Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet contains Salbutamol Sulphate equivalent to Salbutamol 4 mg.

Salbutamol is a selective beta-2-adrenergic agonist. It acts on the beta-2 adrenoceptors of the bronchial muscle and opens up the small airways in the lungs to make breathing easier. Therefore, prevent or relieve symptoms (wheezing, shortness of breath, coughing, and chest tightness) of bronchospasm, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Uses of Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet:

Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet is prescribed for the management of bronchospasm in patient with reversible obstructive airway diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other lung diseases.

It is also indicated for the prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm in patients 4 years of age and older.

Usage Direction of Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet:

  • Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet:

  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet.
  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
  • The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet with any other medication.
  • Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
  • Keep the medicine out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Salbutamol 4 mg Tablet:
